JD – Architecture & Design Manager

• Role Objective

  Coordinate with external project managers / in-house staff managing and providing design inputs and managing all aspects of a project which include planning, monitoring and controlling processes during project execution whilst adhering to requirements

• DETAILED duties and responsibilities

  AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  Project Designing & Planning

  • dialogs Provide design inputs and feedback to the team.
  • dialogs Ensure that the designs are of high-quality standards and adhere to requirements.
  • dialogs Plan & execute large projects to ensure that the implementation takes place as per schedule and as per the high-quality standards.
  • dialogs Time management to ensure the timeliness of deliveries, and that the quality of work is maintained.
  • dialogs Plan resource allocation and management to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
  • dialogs Ensure that the project complies with all legal requirements.

• Presenting design

  • dialogs Prepare scheme and make presentations to the Management.

• Understanding Management Requirements

  • dialogs Interacting with Management to understand their requirements and incorporate them in the design.
  • dialogs Constantly update yourself with upcoming market trends and keep abreast with new techniques.

• Project Handling

  • dialogs Maintain a detailed project plan with clear-cut milestones and associated resource requirements for every project.
  • dialogs Keep the Management abreast with the progress of the designs as required per milestone.
  • dialogs Maintain an issues log and timely resolution of the issues in an effective and comprehensive manner.
  • dialogs Schedule & coordinate meetings, publish meeting agendas, and capture and publish minutes of meeting to keep track of requirements, grievances and feedback.
  • dialogs Understand, implement and follow relevant methodology, processes and standards to ensure that all project team members understand and follow them.

• Drawings, Designs & Detailing

  • dialogs Ensure working drawings adhere to industry standards.
  • dialogs Review drawings made by design team members to ensure they are of required quality and guide them where appropriate.
  • dialogs Provide necessary inputs in the development & detailing of designs as and when required.

• Coordination

  • dialogs Coordinate with Management, external design team members, Consultants, and authorities to ensure provide project related data/information.
  • dialogs Interacting with Service Consultants / Partners, Project team, Design team, Architect team & Technical Staff for the execution of the project.

• Site supervision

  • dialogs Coordinate with the Site Supervisor to note the progress onsite.
  • dialogs Check sample materials used to ensure they adhere to quality standards and comply with the design.

• Liaison for completion certificates

  • dialogs Liaison with certificate bodies to obtain required certificates for proper completion of the project.
  • dialogs Coordinate with architect and structural engineers.

• Documentation

  • dialogs Maintain project documentation as required (project report, evaluation document, GAP Analysis if required etc).
  • dialogs Maintain proper documents for records, and information retrieval.

• Communication

  • dialogs Interact regularly with team members involved in project to ensure smooth execution of the project.
  • dialogs Sort differences amongst the team members to ensure that the project deliverables are not affected.

• Role Objective

  As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering repair, corrective and planned preventative maintenance across the site working as part of the engineering team.

• Areas Of Responsibility

  • dialogs Manage your own workload and ensure that work is completed to the standard required.
  • dialogs Complete the work that comes from Audits, Work Requests and PPM follow ups.
  • dialogs Ensure you apply Health and Safety and Food Safety standards to all work undertaken.
  • dialogs Support all staff within your team and ensure targets/KPI’s are achieved.
  • dialogs Manage Health and Safety of external contractors on site when required and ensure those areas are clean and tidy upon completion.
  • dialogs Ensure all machinery/equipment meets site standards and all sub conditions are dealt with or escalated accordingly.
  • dialogs Control and manage the ordering and quantity of engineering spares to ensure effective stock levels.
  • dialogs Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across all engineering areas.
  • dialogs Communicate effectively across all levels of management and all departments in relation to any engineering activities and breakdowns.

• Minimum Requirements

  Experience	dialogs Overall experience minimum of 5 years within a similar role. dialogs 2 years electrical/mechanical; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved including third- and fourth-year apprentices dialogs Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  Qualification and other requirements	dialogs Completion of a 4-year approved technical training program with a Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in mechanical/electrical repair and maintenance. dialogs Right to work in the UK and should be above 18 years old - Mandatory
  Technical Skills	dialogs Knowledge and experience of Pirana (desirable).
  Other Essential Skills	dialogs Excellent Organisational skills. dialogs Good problem-solving abilities. dialogs Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction. dialogs Ability to work well in a team. dialogs Ability to challenge others in a professional and constructive manner. dialogs Knowledge and experience in a food manufacturing environment an advantage, but not essential. dialogs Understanding of Environmental requirements and responsibilities.

• Working Pattern

  • dialogs Working hours - Working on a rota basis, Monday to Friday hrs to be confirmed.
